2019 Release Enhancements
AssetManager
Pro 2019 (v8) is the 5th release in as many years since AssetManager
Pro was transitioned back to the original developer. We
continue to ensure AssetManager Pro is Australia's leading solution for
Asset Depreciation, Asset Tracking, Asset Maintenance and Asset Audits
(Barcoding and Asset Scanning)
This
release picks up on some key customers requests and resolves all issues reported by users with their use of AssetManager Pro.
Compliance Updates
The 2019 (v8) release of AssetManager Pro includes the latest compliance changes from the ATO for Australian users including the updates to the Small Business Entity Taxpayers from Janruary to April 2019 and from April 2019 through to June 2020.
Also included is an update to Disposal Transactions for New Zealand users to ensure depreciation is not calculated for Tax on disposal of Assets.
Report Updates
A
frequently used feature of AssetManager Pro is the export of Depreciation Reports to MS Excel for advanced data analytics. All Depreciation Report exports have been updated to include the Card and Custom Field/List information allowing for more in depth analysis of the data including Cost Centres and Locations. We have also added a new report to allow a user to easily find all Assets with the Depreciation Frozen.
Sub Password Restrictions Update
AssetManager Pro has the ability to password protect a company file to retrict access or prevent a user (via the password used) from Importing Data, Deleting Data or Starting a New Financial Year. Based on Customer feedback, the password function within AssetManager Pro has been updated to also restrict a user from the ability to run Reports or Export Data providing further protection to the business sensitive Asset information whilst still allowing access for data entry purposes.
Transaction Journal Review and Update
A
More and More users are relying on AssetManager Pro to determine the correct journals for key Asset Transaction events like revaluations, cost adjustments and disposals including the calculation of any gain or loss. In this release a thorough review of all Transaction Journals has been undertaken with an issues discovered resolved so that confidence can be had in the Journals and thier use in your Accounting System.

EXISTING SUPPORT PLAN Those with an eligible and active Support Plan as at the 1st of July
